He likes to do things in style” confessed Avnie, who was swept off by his charm. That style was certainly evident in every intricate detail of the planning from the dramatic proposal to the dream wedding!

What followed has been seldom seen even in the city that defines glitz and glamour. The world famous Hotel Bellagio was transformed into a stage showcasing Indian tradition, culture and celebrations on the highest level. Millions of dollars poured in to mesmerize the estimated 6000 onlookers lining the streets.

A ten-tiered cake was skillfully created by the skilled Bellagio pastry chefs in the shape of a temple. The groom, Pankaj Malani, 31, arrived on the Bellagio driveway on an elephant that itself cost a staggering $10,000.

Fountains danced in unison with the guests. The 165 strong baarat arrived in style from Houston on a charter jet and limousines, dancing to lively Bollywood music.

The elaborate floral arrangements by the poolside cost nothing less than $150,000. Live DJ, drummers and music inspired the family and guests to make the Sangeet in the hotel premises reminiscent of a glittering Bollywood production.

Excerps from the wedding has been documented on youtube to dazzle more viewers worldwide.
